Open Studio
The Open Studio provides independent, creative freedom. Any material is open to you and you decide where to go from there.
Projects
Painting & Drawing
Acrylic paint and watercolor paint are available to you use. Drawing materials include colored pencils, pastels, markers, charcoal, and pens. There are a variety of papers and boards to use (stretched canvas available for an additional charge.) You can paint at a table, at the wall, or at an easel. Work large, small, detailed or with large brush strokes. Maybe you don't use a brush at all and create texture with palate knives.
Journaling & Collaging
Have you been telling yourself you need to journal more? Or maybe it's that trip you took last year that you want to make an album of? Come use the stock of papers, stickers, tapes, and stamps to get going. We have magazines in stock to create collages, vision boards, or anything else you are wanting to create.
Fiber
Felting? Embroidery? Cross stitch? Whatever you're into, come into the studio with your knowledge of the stitch and use the supplies we have to create what you have in mind.
Must be 15 and up to check out needles.
Ceramics
In our ceramic studio, you can experiment with high fire clay and create small sculptures, plates, bowls and mugs. You can work at the group table or taking a turn at the pottery wheel. Firing is included in the cost of one hour in the studio.
Want to focus on glazing? Our limited stock of pieces are made in house and not mass produced. You can choose from the glazes offered and pick up at a later date.
Please note: Working with wet clay is in a lower capacity area than the rest of the studio. Space is limited.
Not sure?
Wanting to get more creative but lowkey terrified? Don't sweat- we have thought-provoking prompts of the day, a craft project of the week, or basic things like trendy coloring books and beaded bracelets.
